Superego is an alternative rock unit from Indonesia. Jeremy Jonathan (vocal, guitar), Talia Thaib (bass) and Rifqi Hidayat (drums) started the band in 2015 with the spirit of Nirvana, My Bloody Valentine and other 90s era bands. They meet each other in the same university to study political and social science in Jatinangor city. To create a more powerful sound, Yoendo Nebriko (guitar), their junior classmate, joined the band to complete the melodical parts. In 2017 they released a debut single called “Indecision”. Superego combines shoegaze and japanese rock to create some unique experimental genre. In mid-2018, they released their first EP album with Raihan Setiawan (bass) who replaced Talia who left to finish her studies.
